Hi cardboard community,

Thank you and yes, I´m still astonished about this simple but clever Geli models. Even the most simple one develops a charming result during the building process.

Another bunch of small parts to be build and assembled. Nothing remarkable, just using a sheet of paper towel inside the spinner part and a lot of wood glue.

And now, the landing gear. My only advice is to use super glue for fixing the wheels - that´s all for this model. After the antenna wire was done, the model is finished. See you in the show room...

This is my favorite Messerschmitt from all other variants, and you crafted it so beautifully. My only question since this model is an old one, do you know when they released it first and what type of paper they print the pattern ??

Thanks and sincerely

Hi Ardi,

The first release was in the 1950´s, the new release which I built, was published in April 2011. The original Geli paper is very special and the new Geli team had to look out for a while, because it was not produced anymore. They found a supplier in Italy with the same paper quality. It is a semi-gloss paper and the colours are metallic in offset print.

Best regards,

Joerg
