Cool George Bush's Avenger

I was wondering if someone makes a cardmodel of Prez Bush senior's Avenger bomber White 2 X. There are two plastic ones but I can't find one in card.

I am unsure, but that would be a good one! Too bad I am unskilled at aircraft or I would attempt it myself!

GPM made an Avenger but I don't know what the markings were...

It was their model #18/2001 Catalog #191. The cover shows an all blue machine with an up-pointing arrow on the fin. It may still be available from some of the out-of-print dealers.

Glad guys found the humor in it--what with the Election & all, a lot of folks seem to be suffering these days from Irony Deficiency...

Hay now, I like Rove today.

I really liked the dedication I saw to the new Air craft carrier USS George H. Bush. The former president placed his war time wings under the multi-ton island when it was lowered into place, kind of like the coin under the mast thing. Neat stuff.

If you can talk Aaron into designing a TBF/M Avenger, I'll do a re-paint if he doesn't do it himself.............

This is really a WWII bird that isn't modeled to death and I would like to have one.

Very neat indeed, and like you say, a sentiment that reverberates down to every seagoing person.

As a lifelong Leftist (with a historical perspective that lands me - where? if not on either Wing, how 'bout the fuselage?), I enjoyed my State Department buddy's take on Bush 41:
"Sure, you didn't hear much about the CIA when HW was heading it...but in the Intelligence business, the less you hear, the more's going right!"
After that, I gotta share his assessment of W:
"Look, nobody gets through Yale on just bucks and influence. I think he was a smart guy, born into the wrong family."

They say it takes 50 years for History to judge a man. I choose to wait. It's more fun that way, anyway.
