Smile ECardmodels contest: Nobi's/Thaipaperwork Dewoitine D520 1-100 Builder:Gomidefilho

Well friends after being gone a few months for personal and professional reasons I am returning to my participation in the Ecardmodels contest. The subject chosen was a model I bought in the store Ecardmodel, it is the French fighter Dewoitine D-520's of the World War II.

A short history of the airplane:

The Dewoitine D-520, was one of the best French fighter designed just before World War II, was higher than on other fighters in the same period of the nation, particularly the Morane Saulnier MS 406. He had a performance nearly equivalent to German Me-109E. But it was produced in small quantities and a slow production so that when the Germans invaded France in 1940 the little handful of D-520 air and the Armée d'l Air could do to stop the Luftwaffe.
After the collapse of 1940 of the collaborationist Vichy government put the D-520 in production using him against the allies in Syria. The Germans captured large quantities of D-520's of this unit after the invasion of Vichy France who sold to Allied-axis (Bulgaria and Italy) and also used as fighter aircraft and training of the Luftwaffe.
The Free French also used the unit captured the units of the forces of Vichy when the Allies invaded to Africa in 1942.

The model.

Designed on the scale 1 / 48 of one of the more traditional designers of digital models of aircraft: the Nobi Thaipaperwork the model of the D-520 caused me a few surprises, the first of which is suitable for beginners and the second for lack to formers or glue flaps in the fuselage, which makes it really a challenge for experienced modellers.
The construction on the scale 1 / 48 is very difficult without those elements which in my opinion should be added by the designer in a new review in the model.
The textures and panel lines are very well made, although the camouflage has small errors of meeting and the colors are relatively bad (the green camouflage is very light).
For version (livery) the Nobi seem to have chosen to create a generic version, another serious flaw in my view. (at least not found any mention about this in my documentation livery) One of the charms of the French aircraft of the period is precisely the squadron emblems and carry the name of the plane and the number of production at the rudder. In decoration nonentity mysterious.
The instructions are very general not explaining the under-construction, some steps must be imaginated by modeller...

The pieces of model reduced for 1/100 scale and fuselage cuts...

Construction

The file of the model comes in PDF format with five pages with a cover, two sheets of pieces (total of 54) and two sheets of instructions. There is also the option to build the model with or without undercarriage (two sets of wings next to it). As I do not like the scale 1 / 48, decided to reduce the model to scale 1 / 100, also providing a larger scale problems that causes the assembly and finishing. I cut all the pieces of fuselage and provides the first was added flaps of collage. The pieces which form the entire fuselage is well bonded are absolutely accurate and lines of panel fit very well (you must use to promote the correct alignment of the parts)

The model was printed on an Epson C-92 on paper filecoat (filiset) 120g. We note here the main sequence of building the fuselage...

Next steps: Tail, windscreen and wings...

See you later my friends!!!

I really like 1/100 scale models and wish that I had your skill at building them!

Thanks for the series of detailed build photos. They are very helpful.
