oh yeah, wow! so far this kit is superb. part fit is perfect. i've only built 3 kits from books and the quality of this thing blows them away.

a few more pics, progress is slow because of work :( anyhow, cockpit tub is finished (for now, found some historical fotos, might add some details) have one chine done and thought I would show how I'm fighting the hard edge white line. in addition to edge coloring i'm using black stock strips to attach the parts together. In past builds sometimes you could see the white inside where the two parts come together at the angle and there is no color and the edges don't perfectly line up. hopefully i'm not the only one that experiences this? anyway, this is working pretty good for me on this model. more to follow

Nice shine on that fuselage. What did you finish it with?
I shot mine with airbrushed Future Clear at the end of the build.
Looks great.

plain old rustoleum clear I need to spray models I print. I guess it's my printer, but the more I handle the model it tends to smear and fade. Therefore, as I complete a section I give it a light coat and keep building. Also I notice that the clear deepens the color a bit too, which worked out good on this one which printed out more of a dark gray than a black, again probably my printer.I like using gloss and semi rather than flat which for me tends to fuzz up. since most of the historical pics i've seen of this plane show glossy surfaces I don't feel too bad using gloss.
