Thank you

Rick and other forum members,

I made a donation to the ongoing efforts of the image artist. Artists they are with respect to their
tinacity to replicate an object in digital or analog form.

Not unlike CAD, this is not a quick process unless existing resources are utilized to save time, and
in the end, money.

You (the contributors) have made a tool with which I can now detail the surface of my A6 Intruder
family, (A6A, A6E, A6F, Ea6A, and KA6D)

Thank you!

No Joy!

I did not open the download until today and was more than a little surprised to find it was a
combination of Raster and Vector images layered which creates a mess (unusable image) if
you hoped to extract a digital image for CAD/CNC.

In this case I was taking the 1:48th image and enlarging it 800% for a test to make sure it
was all Vector...guess what... It appears this drawing evolved from an original Raster
to a more recent Vector format. What would not be an issue at 1:48 blows apart at 800%.

So, back to the drawing board so to speak. I have never had an issue with the 30~40 drawings
I have purchased from Poland. Seems that is a hot bed for accurate aviation drawings. Russian
are the same...however they tend to be full of "bugs".

............

Does anyone know about where I can "purchase" a high resolution .pdf version of this? I was
directed to a site last evening... :^( which was harvesting data from customer order input... ;^(

It is not possible to legaly purchase pdf version of this model. You have to purchase the book, if available, and scan and trace needed features by hand.

Or you can try to contact designer for help.

I am trying to simply buy the book and its not in most inventories. I hope to find someone within Paper Modelers who has it.

Ed,

GPM and all the other Polish model publishers do not release their kits in a digital format.

Any digital version of those kits will be scans of the purchased kit, and are illegal, and in high res raster images(which you can't use per your own statement)

Use what is available, and clean up, or commission a designer to design an A-6 kit in vector format for you to use in your design

I will keep looking for hardcopy and scan it myself.

Your scan will also be in raster, not vector, keep that in mind

Yes you can, but the original data produced by the scanner will be raster, so ghosting will still be present
