Dear Jan and Friends:
My wife and daughter went to a Museum Conference and ended up in Balston Spa New York at a Llama Farm See attached pictures nothing about what kind of sailplane or why it is there. Enjoy, Miles

After finding a fantastic new museum, the WAAAM (Western Antique Aircraft and Automobile Museum) in Hood River, Oregon, I was inspired by their fine collection of sailplanes and gliders to get myself my own sailplane collection. I'll post photos as I get them built.

That is a great museum. Was there in 2014. Don't remember if I ever put up a link to my photos from there: 2014-07-29 Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum - whulsey

Lots of great pictures, Whulsey. Looks like they rotated their collection a bit. A couple of subjects in your photos are no longer there, replaced by other gems. I spent over 4 hours there, and didn't get a chance to see everything they had. It was a good week, I went by the Van's aircraft factory and the Evergreen Museum in McMinville a few days before heading up the gorge to Hood River. Then headed over to Dulles Airport to visit the Udvar-Hazy Center's Air & Space Museum a couple of days later. I'm really glad we don't have to pay to have our pictures developed anymore.
