Loire 130
I wanted to "upgrade" my skill in Sketchup, so I decided to make the Loire 130 (a french aircraft of the second war).
Not easy until now, and the wings will be worst... |

Fantastic! Good to see someone's doing this in paper. I suggested it to Aaron and I'm very happy it's in progress in your hands. Have you decided what livery you're going to use? I will follow this closely because for some strange reason I have a soft spot for the plane.

I have found different liveries (not sure for the orthograph...), in general, I just prefer the more colorful, the more graphic one.
There are some with german livery, livery until 1940 (only grey... not exiting), after 1940 ?(with red and yellow stripes), and colonial. Not sure of my choice, but for now I prefer the grey-blue with the stipes. |

The last one would have been my choice too. A while back when I considered buying the Azur 1/48 plastic version of the plane I found quite a build thread from Greece showing very detailed work - here is the thread if anyone's interested.

Next step : I will test the "reliability" of the fuselage. The pieces are almost ready for build...
(scale 1/72, my Loire will be 15,7 cm long) |

Well, I could not resist making some colors to get an idea of the final result...
