Macchi M.5 flying boat fighter (1:48)

I recolored , only for this and my use, a model of Roman Vasiliev, purchased long ago, the flying boat Macchi M.5, number M.7289, with the colors of the Sub-Lieutenant Umberto Cavello, 260ª Squadriglia, Spring 1918.

Guardiamarina Calvello chose the popular 'Happy Hooligan' (called Fortunello, or Lucky Man, by the Italians) for display on his fighter'nose, that aggressively threatens the enemy, in Venetian dialect, 'Ocio Ocio! fiol d'un can' (Beware! Beware! Son of a dog, seen as the son of a bitch). On the suitcase is written the motto Futurist: 'Marciare, non marcire' (March! Don't rot!)
I redesigned the particular nose'art...

Thanks Goodduck,

Kampfflieger did one at 1/72 and Marek at 1:50 - borh are available at eCardmodels.com. This is apparently the Kampflieger version, upscaled to 1:48.
