Well that is one spectacular model!!
The Ford Tri Motor is special to me -- I got to ride in one a few years ago! What an adventure that was. So interesting to see how passenger air travel has changed. I'll take the Tri Motor over a Delta 727 any ol' day.

This is one of the 11 versions included in the model PDF. Check pages 20 and 33 for details.

I would like to nominate myself for "STUPIDO OF THE MONTH". I have been out of commission for some time so I have not been up to date especially the development of this Model. I remember when it was first released for free use I immediately downloaded it. I saved it for future use and finally after seing this thread got inspired enough to attempt this build. So I proudly opened my original file which was entirely in black and white. Not knowing that it has been updated and colorized I printed the original. I started to cut the parts and got about 80% done when I decided to compare what I had with this one here. So I downloaded it again and I was stunned to find this much improved version. It was so beautiful that I threw out the fisrt one and started all over. I feel like an idiot for not checking this first.

Don't worry. I believe most of us have similar stories

Don't forget to check Adolf's building thread at Kartonbau. Ford Tri Motor von Peter A. Zorn in 1:22 - Abgeschlossene Bauberichte - Luftfahrt - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund ums Kartonmodell
It shows clearly the correct positioning of the engine struts, which is a rather difficult part. And there are other small details he notes in his build.

Regards,

When I printed out the red versio I found the color to be off from what I am seeing in this thread. Mine is closer to a reddish burgandy. Anyone know how I can fix this?
