The Velie Monocoupe 70, by Fiddlers Green

Been meaning to do this one again with windshield and interior.

Dressed it up a little with different wheels and made the prop spinner out of a fishing sinker which also acts as a balance weight. OOPS I see I forgot to install the step by the door

Not completely happy with how the windshield came out and I forgot to do the windows in the wing

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING

Neat, was just reading an article last night on Velie automobiles. Didn't realize until then that the Monocoupes were from the same company. Did know that the Velie money came from John Deere.

No, I didn't know their money came form John Deere. Where did you find that information?

Used to know a guy 30 years ago that had restored a Velie auto so originally learned about it then. Just had read an article but the magazine has disappeared in one of the stacks somewhere. But here's a link to Velie info: Velie Auto History

Thought I'd give this one a try again. I sort of have an affinity for early flying machines and WW1 aircraft.

Those were the days

Was doing some cleaning up and found this tucked way back in the corner.

At the time I didn't have a color printer and didn't have any card stock
