That canopy and those venturis (one of each kind!) sure look good! - L.

wow, that was fast work Rich and they do look fantastic! Any idea on the weight of the big one? I have little doubt a small electric motor could power it up, but wonder if it could function as a glider as it is. Did you do anything to brace the wings, or just build it as is? Any control surfaces? It looks great, must be tempting to give it a quick toss!

Thanks guys! Paperairforce it weighs 172 grams, I built the wings as is but it would be easy to build spar box out of balsa or light (1/32) ply. no control surfaces just printed ones. Have thought about giving it a toss but its tail heavy so i know it won't fly.
It would be so easy to build this out of Depron and i bet it would be light enough to fly great. I might just have a go at it myself.......Rich

A long, long time ago Richkat alerted me to the fact that the fin/rudder split line was faulty - it should be a straight vertical line, not the kind I mistakenly drew in the kit. Now, at last, I've corrected the kit.

It's a small detail, but it really should have been corrected a long time ago, particularly since it was easier than I imagined. Thanks Rich, both for building the model, and for alerting me way back then. I love your big version, and the detailed canopy.

You can download the corrected model from here, in the downloads section. I hope you do, if nothing else than have a look at it. I am kind of partial to it...

Leif
