Is the first time I see this model, and it looks very interesting.
The ideas back in the WWII era, eh? |

Try a set of markers from Walmart...cra-z-art. come in a 30 count set in a rainbow of colors...one will match just about any color, but you have to move them fast..the ink will flow into the paper quick, too much if you go slow! they are cheep under $3 give them a try. Your build look great!....Rich

I actually have a 20 set of markers I bought a while back and still work great. I'm using them in my next build, which will be posted in the same thread as the current poll question.

I find the cheaper felt-tip pens bleed less than the more expensive ones.
Also use grey Berol felt-tip pens, they can be bought in boxes of 12. And come in fine and broad tips. Tim |

The one nice thing about sharpies is that they will colour over anything- including glue. There have been times where I found I needed to fill in gaps and such after I have glued on a part, and regular felt markers wouldnt work where the glue was. But a sharpie will.
Just sayin... |

Awesome build. As for edge colouring, I find using grey/gray works the best, from light to dark. I can never get quite the right shade of a specific colour.

A $12.00 set of prismacolor colored pencils works fine for edge coloring, sometimes you don't get the exact shade but it looks generally blends in well enough to not attract attention and reduces the glaring white of the edges. And for grey, a normal pencil works fine as well.
