Jeff no worry my friend! The original release is in a friendly 1/48 and 1/72 scale. I like pain with my small 1/100

But if anything interest, I not use the fingers to build the minor details in my build, I use a wide variety of tweezers and instruments for forming or folding...

In the last night

I made a engine, is a sensible piece, Roman is very skillfull to made in three pieces the each cylinder, In 1/100 the build of each is boring and slow, but I believe is major scales is a easy job beside a complex form...
In the kit the cylinders is separate in sets (A, B, C, D and E) each set refer a location in the nose, the base of cylinder fit perfect if is in correct place.

The all pieces in this places

After build I cover the white edges with acrilic paint...

Size comparation...

The work in engine is not stop the valve and escapes is attached later...

Regards my friends!

Pericles, are cylinders simple enough? I've tried few ways before make it as you see.

Those cylinders are looking great, despite the tiny size, Pericles!

Very good!

Thank's my friends!

Roman

I did not say simple, I meant sensitive, damn translator, sorry for this. I think this is the best way to make cylinders, considering the challenge still leave the piece as a whole ovaloid. Both are complex, I used two modeling sessions (Monday and yesterday) to complete the engine.

Engine cylinders have always been difficult for me - the design here looks excellent - and these are built at 1/100 scale !!
Beautiful work. Beautiful design.
