Thank's John

For a big collection I believe a small scales is a ideal, I like a lot 1/100 because is not too big (like 1/72) and not too smaller (like 1/144).

Currently I have 95 models and I built an average of two to three per month depending on the complexity. I prefer to use e-models (DGA, Marek, Lad'N'Dad), but in many cases scaneio magazines that I buy in stores and reduce it to the 1/100.

As 1:100 is quite large, you should stop breathing complete when looking at this crazy guy K.u.K Seeflieger Arsenal auf der Insel St. Catarina in Pola (jetzt Pula) 1:1250 - Bauberichte Architektur - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund ums Kartonmodell who is constructing his seaplane port in 1:1250!

I think the 1/100 is a good intermediate-scale aircraft. Work on the seaplane base is impressive, but 1/1250 is a reasonable size architectural scale, what impresses me are the details of this construction.

Harry

I use paper, in this case a 120g filecoat (sulfite) paper and 240g heavy cardboad. I use a two domestic inkjet printer: Epson T-25 and HP D2400, I printed my models in photographic mode, after I spray a layer of varnish for protect and light the print. I not use a foam or similar material for reinforcement (this scale is to small for this)
