Smile Boeing F3B in 1/100 scale (Der Kampfflieger)

Hi my friends!

Roman invite me a test you new model: a Boeing F3B late 20's US Navy Fighter.

The original kit is in 1/48 but I start the test build in my constant 1/100 scale collection.

I start the test, building the fuse sections, first the nose...

After a building and fit the second section, note the wall with pilot's dashboard...

In the next I attach the inner skin of cockpit, with carefull the building ot this piece must have correct, or the rest of fuse are desalign...

After dry I made a rear fuse section, note the absense of formers, but the fit is excellent...

I finish the fuselage...

Is a pretty plane like a last WWI fighter size...

I start the tail, before I put in the place the former of inferior wing and horizontal tail...

At this moment is the results. I work in engine, updates soon...

Outstanding, Péricles!

Kudos to Roman for designing this historic airplane model and to you for doing such a fine job of building it.

Agreed, Don! I'm watching this build with great interest. I like what I see thus far.

I hope it comes in a bigger scale for these big fumble fingers. Ha Ha

That is one nice clean build!

I have always found it difficult at these smaller scales to keep the seam lines from showing, but on yours they seem to blend right in! Keep up the good work!
