Blade Rotation

I fly coaxial rc helicopters & blades rotate in opposite directions. This illiminates having a tail rotor. Having no tail rotor & both blades turning in the same direction would cause the helicopter to just spin in one direction.

Legion you're doing a great work in a very interesting model from canon. It's going to look great.

It may not look right, but this concept is skill flying today as the single seat Kaman K-MAX. Used primarily to haul cargo externally ( like for logging )

In other news, I finished the landing gear and added other details like doors and fueltanks:




All that is left is the rotors and gears.

And it is done!

Unfortunately, the designer of this model forgot to make the lower rotor turnable... But that doesn't stop it from looking pretty! I did swap the lower blades direction. The blades can still be removed, as I used skewers instead of the paper parts supplied.



Will post some more pictures tomorrow, when I have better lighting.
