Twin Rotor Helicopter [Canon]

Canon's latest vehicle release is Big and orange. And really unusual, as it has 2 main rotors and no tail rotor. There is no specific manufacturer mentioned on the download page, or in both files.

Looks like trhe artist based it off of Kamov's design ethos. Interesting.

Yes it does have a Kamov flavor to it, but it seems to be a mix of models

Definitely has a Russian linage with those engines......... and that style counter rotating blades.

To me, the model looks to be a hybrid between Ka29 engines and rotors and Westland Lynx fuselage.
As such, a sort of "what-if?" might best describe it.
Nonetheless, it is a reasonably good-looking model that I have added to my collection, which is relatively light on helos.

Started working on the skin:

The first few skin pieces are connected with small tab strips that you have to cut to length.

Love the look of that helicopter. It's like the PZL Swidnik W-3 Sokol had been designed by Kamov !

Progress so far has been smooth. Finished the front fuselage (sans detailwork).
