Curtiss Wright Condor build in 1/100 scale
Hello my friends!
I started a build in 1/100 scale of Curtiss Condor. Is a Oddball design. My choice is Byrd machine used in Antartic Expedition of 1938. I start the build from Floaters, because I fix model in a foajm jig to build biplans layout and add rigging...    The pontoons, i paint the edges with acrilic paint...   I made struts wih orthodontical wire reinforcement...  In the next I started the first half of fuselage  Nose...  Cockpit area, Made with carefull because a box section of fuse, the secret is right the panel lines...  Another sections done... First half completed. Continue...

Pretty good! The struts are looking strong enough.

The third step is made a second half of fuselage...
 The process is same...     Fuselage is ready, I started the build of interior wing...  I painted white edges with a mix of acrilic colors to simulate a chromate yellow.    I open with sharp #11 cirurgical scalpel the wing holes in fuselage and gluing the center section of wing... After dry (24H) I gluing the external sections of wing with carefull...    At the moment I made a engine nacelles, pics later...
