Did you tape the rolling paper to the 1/4" rod? After scoring the ribs and leading edge crease the ribs downward towards the unprinted side. After you have done that, place the end of the wing (printed side up) in the scroll where the tape meets the rod and tightly roll all the way. then remove from the scroll and slightly flatten out with your fingers. Then fold at the leading edge and join the trailing edge. Note the top portion is longer than the bottom so you have to insert something like a scewer or straw inside the leading edge to form the airfoil and allow the top to meet the bottom trailing edge. make sure to line it up at the ribs and both edges should be flush. Then the airfoil shape will be maintained. Press out with your fingers to get the proper sag between the ribs after gluing. I hope this helps.
