The term "room-filling" comes to mind.

Thank's my friends! Is a huge size, I imagine in original scale 1/48...

Resuming the build after a long hiatus...

I started the tail set, not problem with pieces, typical from Oddball, I use pva glue to fit in the fuselage, note the proeminent positive diedral in stabilyzers...

After I make wing pods and canopy...

The pod is a most complicated piece, because the form is a segmented cone, because the size in 1/100 I build with carefull...

I started the undercarriage, all legs are reinforced with CA glue...

I fix the undercarriage doors and build the J-65 auxiliar engine pods...

A view of undercarriage...

Build of aux engine pods, is a dificult to form correct shape the best chance to sucess is create a formers with exaust and turbojets spats to create a oriented pre form to guide in the build of set...

I finished the wing pods painted with radome tan and black...

Next post the model finished...

Finally, it's finished....... It came out looking really nice. Those wing pods are a pain at any scale, and yours came out looking very decent.

I don't like the looks of the pods in general so if I build again I will keep them off mine.. They disturb the clean line of the wing.

Congrats, it looks great.

Thank's my friends!

Antonio you build of RB-57 is a inspiration, I give another motivation to finish my RB-57, the wig pod is a ugly feature, but in my search I have many RB-57F with, so I decide build, My major dificult is build engine pods. Beside a size is a good kit, for me is one of most beautiful mode in Oddball Catalogue...
