I glue all segments execpt the nose... Make the nose... The first providence is add weight, my favorite weight material spherical lead used as ammunition for hunting I glue with CA glue... I gluing the nose... After, I apply a layer o CA glue in nose for cover imperfections of petal system of folding at the nose tip. After a 24H dry I sanded the tip... After a delay I resuming the build of RB-57...
First I prepare a wing suport with close attention is a fundamental for good fitting of wing (alias huge wing) I start the build of wings is a big man... The model have a interesting variation of building method: first attach the wing root, after the engine nacelles, for build the rest of the wing See you in the next update... |

Looks like a very sturdy structure to support those very long wings.
Nice work, as always. Don |

The wing roots that Aaron designed for this model really do help the wings on this model show droop of the actual wings....They just look totally wrong if the droop isn't there.
Some of the ground crews of these F models use to call them "Droopies/Droopy's". Interesting the order you built the wing is different than the 2 I've built. I like seeing other approaches, it gives me ideas on how to build #3. Looking good, Swampfox |
