Thank you very much, friends.

Yes, Chris, harrassment works... but in this subject it's good for all.

Michael, I print it on laser a local print shop. The paper is a Xerox paper with a kind of high brightness. I'll check it for you.

Great job, Gerardo! Ahh, canopies... one of the reasons I stick to stuff that runs on the surface of the Earth! Thanks for the great pics and great build!

Hi Gerardo,

Very nice!
I built this model (with israelian camo) sometimes ago; I used a ready-made canopy, wich had a good fit:

Looks great Gerardo! Good luck on the canopy! If not, a "store bought" one should be fine!

Good model, Milenio. Are you trying to vacuum form your canopy? I followed Ted's tutorial and can make nice canopies now with that technique. You could also try buying a Halinski canopy and tweaking it to fit.

Guys, thank you for the comments.

Well... the canopy. I will try 3 approaches:
1. With Dr. Zarkov suggested transparent paper
2. With a warmed plastic cover of a bottle (in the stove), following Roberto's (Hpept) tutorial (I have a PDF if you want), of the plastic bottle.
3. Buy it ready-made (I have to buy more models anyway)

My club's show is on 12 August, so I think I still have time to find the best approach.

Carl, thanks for your suggestion, and yes, I remember Ted's tutorial. I didn't give it much credit at that time, because I've never did models greater than 1/48, much less with detailed cockpits. I'll check it again.

Hello friends.

Here's the P-51 D Mustang complete. The option for canopy was the one suggested by Emil Zarkov.

Not the best appraoch, I know, but I wanted to know how it looked, because I've never seen a picture in the forums with this kind of canopies, and I said... why not?

In the end I think it looks like an actual paper model of the canopy. Besides, it's my first curve canopy.

But yes, as Golden Bear told me, I should buy a canopy from a store... eventually my friend, eventually.
