Thanks, Ray. I'll always try to do justice to Murph's models.

The props are up and running or rather spinning.

P-61 Black Widow, Operation Thunderstorm livery

The third Black Widow, Operation Thunderstorm livery, is now up for your views. These are
the "after" photos after a layer of clear spray paint. And the last pictures is the bundle doing
aerobatics-acrobatics performances.
Hope you'll enjoy the views.

Those propellers are a beauty as is the finished model. Love the last pic, I remember you did something similar with the the C-119.

As always, superb craftsmanship. Perfect Black Widows. The Thunderstorm P-61 is a real eye-catching beauty, and all three look terrific, although I have a personal preference for the olive drab version.

Have you ever done a tutorial on your spinning prop method, Papermate? I have done a search for "papermate spinning props" and found two pages of wonderful modeling, including the videos of the Saro Princess and the 1/200 Corsairs with their props spinning, but haven't been able to find a description of your methodology. Leif Ohlsson once did a tutorial on rotating props in small scales (Rotating props in small scales) and I found your exchange with Nando on counter-rotating props (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/454743-post46.html). I have both of those in my Paper Modeler's Vade Mecum, But would love to know how you fabricated the rotating mechanism for the P-61.

Thank you all, my friends, for visiting and your appreciation.

Don, for you and other friends who may have an interest in making a spinning prop unit
for large and small scale prop-driven aircraft models, I have prepared a little something
as reference material. Just managed to complete Part 1 and quite exhausted at that.
Must reiterate that this is just my two-cent and may not be as sophisticated as other builders.

If you are interested, I'll work on Part 2 of the Casing and perhaps Part 3 of the Props.
