Looking at pictures I'm wondering is cabane struts were wooden or formed steel tubing.I honestly can't tell. That must have been tough to adjust tension on all of them evenly.Add to that wire rigging...

Thanks, my friends for stopping by.
Ya know, Aaron's SM1 really rocks. Even if you don't build it, just look at the kit and you'll say it's worth every cent of the price of only $3. And it comes with a jig also free.
Sometimes, I just wonder if he ever knows anything about pricing!

I know about pricing. I also know that if I put it too high, nobody will buy it.

That's cool. So, you're keeping to your one-engined plane at $3 rule.

Yep. 1 engine is $3, 2 engines are $5, and 4 or more engines are $6.

No. 39 KA-26 Hoodlum Cropduster, originally 1/36

No.39 is Aaron repaint of his OBP KA-26 Hoodlum cropduster, originally at 1/36, now reduced to fit in this series. Will soon be available on his webstore. Back to my court, this should be the first helo in this series of 1/72 flying things. OK, a couple more will likely show up somewhere here later!

I have googled extensively for details and positions of the chemical hopper and spray bars that are not clearly given in the kit. Perhaps this is the area that Aaron should look into so that builders will not be at a loss as to where to fix them.

The pax pod and chemical hopper are interchangeable as I have put a piece of magnet in each of them and a small steel plate inside the underside of the aft fuselage. See Photos 17-19. The spray bars should be connected according to the reference photos that I have seen but mine is connected by a short strip of rolled up foil. Not a problem to me though. Lastly, the rotors spin as I turned them with my finger.

Enjoy your views, guys.

Well to be fair to the passenger pod that has gone under numerous times of surgery, like ripping her open, changed the top and implanted a small steel plate, I should be showing more of her on the Hoodlum.
