Thanks, Don.

Build is now put on hold pending Aaron's clarification of the chin radiators but he's not responding in the last couple of days, probably too busy.

I have googled a lot to see how it should look without changing the design of the chin radiators and now come up with a modification to change the markings on the engine nacelles, see pictures. And to make it more realistic or as an option, draw up some exhaust manifolds for all the engines. Aaron may wish to see if it works okay.

I'm waiting for my computer to finish downloading Microsoft's latest mandatory viru...I mean update, before I get around to looking at the Lancaster. Apparently this one is a biggie, cause it's taken 2 days. I'm hoping I still have personal files left after it's done.

Never keep important files on your comp. Get an external memory bank and use it. Don't leave it plugged in- it's meant as a lifeboat for files, not part of a computer. They are cheap unless you have extremely large files. I have 3 drives at the moment, none is larger than 1Gb and all have plenty of room.

Back up is much cheaper than your work.

Ps-imho back up in cloud is a nonsense. Lots can go wrong with it and I don't trust Goolag with my stuff.

I do have several backups. It was more of a joke, especially since I had one hooked up to my computer at the time, and Windows has a reputation of erasing any personal file within 5 feet of the computer, whether it's connected or not.

No.42 Avro Canada CF-100 Pink Lady, originally 1/62

While awaiting Murph's clarification of the chin radiators for the Lanc, I have finished a model by Yukonjohn on his repaint of the CF-100 RCAF the Pink Lady. It's not exactly an easy build in the absence of formers but it was quite an experience as I got the feeling that it's all about tubular sections being joined together. As regards the engine nacelle fairings, what I do is attach the fairing to the engine first and then glue it according to the markings on the fuselage, one at a time, left to right or vice versa. After that, do the smaller fairings of the nacelle and wing and attach it to the wing first before doing the same as mentioned above. If you build it when it's released via Murph's website, mind you also that the landing gears struts have to be shortened using the 3-view diagram on the instruction sheet as a reference. If not, you'll get a Pink Lady tiptoeing, haha.
