No.55, Dehavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter on float, Viking version
No.55 in this series is the Dehavilland Twin Otter on floats - Viking version. This is the hardest Twin Otters I have built in the Otters collection so far. And for this reason that I expect it to be hard, I increased the hardship by using photoprint paper. The build was not uneventful as I have to re-do one of the main gear struts. Anyway, it's now completed and ready to move on to the next.
I have also photoshopped one of the float pictures to show what it will be like, presumably, with the landing gears up and retracted into the floats. |

This one is a real achievement - of course, all of your models reflect your outstanding skill and experience, but this one stands out in a field of champions.

Very nice. Another example of taming the paper.

Do you know what's the purpose of the black wings? The Japanese Turboporter also has the blak wings along with the Dash-7 |
