I dunno if that particular helicopter had a passenger pod or was strictly a cropduster. I just didn't want to leave a large empty space on the spray bar sheet, so I made up a quick recolor of the passenger pod as a "What If".
Pictures of the sprayer set up show the tank all the way up against the cab of the chopper, with the spray bars connecting to the black spots on the engines and meeting in the middle behind it. Then a blackened toothpick, or piece of wire connecting the bars to the tank. I think I'm going to do a quick redesign on the rotor mast. It's a rather complicated affair in real life, and I originally didn't design it to be able to spin. It was just that shaft without the connecting rods. |

I know some had them. The other 2 versions of the KA-26 I did are passenger versions. I just dunno if the yellow one had a passenger pod or was just a farm cropduster.
There was also a "pickup bed" pod (seen to the right in the picture) that I want to model. I just need to find good detail pictures. |

Great work on both models, papermate. I'll bet it wasn't easy using photo paper at 1/160.

About the 1/160 model, I just used ordinary paper, double layered and after finishing, I covered it with a layer of UV resin. That’s why it looks glossy. This is something new I tried but I found it not easy to get a smooth surface over a large area. Perhaps photo print paper gives an overall more even finish.
