Thanks Brent. The build is now put on hold pending solution of some problems that need Murph's attention and action.

F-111 sneak peek
Here's a sneak peek of the F-111 that Murph is still considering modification of the swing wing mechanism before release. The GBU bomb is from his webstore freeby - All Weapons.

While Murph's seriously considering the issue, here's a couple more pics to entice you.
Some interesting points to note - The stabs rotate to keep them rested at 45 degrees, and the inner two weapon pylons also rotate (supposed to align with the fuselage, according to Wiki) but I have made all four of them rotate. These are all add-ons. If you want to know how to do it, just yell! |

According to Willygoat, our resident ''Vaark" expert, the reason the stabilizers droop down is because the hydraulic system keeps them horizontal. When the engines are shut off, the hydraulic system is shut off.
I wanna know how you got the pylons to rotate. I couldn't figure out how to get them to rotate, other than putting them on toothpicks and having them individually moved manually. |
