Mikhail,
Your P-40 and Zero are both very nice!
Tell us how you make the aircraft display stands. Those look very interesting and very simple.

Hi Mikhail,
Congratulations, you're an artist!
This model is extraordinary, as do others.
The gloss makes the model as if it were new factory but it is certainly impressive.
In my next model, including myself, use glossy acrylic spray that I have already bought.

The permanent stand is simple: a waste plastic bottle cleaned and cut (8 cm height), plus cut white plastic plate and printed label glued on it. This stand provides good view of "horizontally flying" plane and is transparent - does not overlap anything

Another (used for "land" shots) is "concrete airfield" taken from GPM's "Kartonowka" (02/2001)

Go study!

I am sure many already have clicked on the link to the original build report on Michail's own site (where he has collected all the beautiful models he has rebuilt). If not, try this Google-translated version, in order better to understand the work involved.

You will notice the amount of work involved (close study of sources, redesigning, redrawing, recolouring, etc.).

Study also his similar build of the A6M2 Zero and the discussion of it on this site.

Finally, a few of Michail's photos during the build, just to wet your appetite, in case you haven't already visited his site.

Leif
