Interesting.

Would you be interested in sharing or pointing me in the direction of how this could be done? I'd really like to build some of these models with rounded noses.

Very true. I understand completely.

I think I have a few ideas on how this might be accomplished, and I'm more than happy to spend extra time to fiddle about with them.

I've been having lots of fun repainting some blank templates of these into modern airline schemes!

Actually guys I have been working with the guy that owned the airigami site and created some of the Olympic airways planes based on his white templates. If you are interested please send me a PM and I will forward you the original models (pdf was loosing some detail). Also I have somewhere in my storage hard disc a lot of these models since there were planes from airlines across the globe...
To get an idea, the models include DC3, DC4, Boing 737 (plain and Olympics livery), ATR, DH8 (Olympics livery), YAK40, Y11, etc.

Hi guys,
I'm the guy who made all the Airigami designs. I'm delighted to find that people are still enjoying them years after I took the site down (sadly I just didn't have the time for it anymore). If there are designs you want, I can send them to you. Just let me know.
Cheers,
J.J.

Hello James, I am the guy that helped you with the Olympic Airways and other Greek models. I am glad to see you are well and still checking our hobby. I still have those models by the way along with many from your old site
