Sorry to hear about that Vermin King. So they say misfortune never comes singly. Hope you'll be better real soon.

Have an upcoming estimated tax due shortly and some business-related continuing education coming up, too. When it rains it pours ... LOL

Sometimes you just have to step back and laugh at things (or else you'll get ulcers and heart problems)

Hi, it's the green version of the Bird Dog, the US Army livery. For size of the Bird Dog, please refer to the link here.

Did you use floral wire in the landing gear?

Yes, similar wire was used and also the prop shaft, too. The prop spins but not freely. Didn't do a cleaner job on this one with the prop.

No. 4 Fokker DR1 by Zio

You have probably seen this plane many times before, have built it yourselves and have watched others did it, but not at this scale - 1/200. Yep, it's from Zio's collection of WW1 planes and they are free stuff, too. Don't forget to donate (if you have not done so) when downloading from his site.

Wow! and I thought mine was small. Only I did his old jpg version that he gave away ten years ago. Not as much detail. Mine is 1.5 inches long. I guess it works out to be just slightly larger than yours.

Very nice

That DR1 is a whole lot more detailed than his old jpg. Amazing that you got all those fiddly bits done and done so well.
