Freebies in 1/200

There're lots of freebies on this forum and Ecardmodels and out there. I'm picking the easier ones to start. The Me109E TROP is from NOBI originally in 1/100. It just happens that when I started building this one, a similar one in the original scale has been posted. Well, we're just having fun, so large or small really doesn't matter.

No. 2 Bird Dog

No. 2 is Paper Tiger's O1-F Bird Dog, originally in 1/72, that I have finished building last night after the Me 109E. And pics of the two are also posted here. Have fun.

Thank you, Cami, I didn't realize that you have an interest in aircrafts.
Have a nice day.

Very nicely done. I'm actually getting a bug for small aircraft. Couldn't sleep last night, so a little after midnight I just got up, printed off Zio's Red Baron (the old version), and within 45 minutes, mostly done. printed off at 2 pages/page, so it will end up just less than 1.75 inches.

I'd like to see more of these.

Truth isd when you start with smaller scales it is like a runner who trains carrying 10lb weights on his legs. When the race starts he feels lighter and runs faster. Once you master the small ones the big ones are a piece of cake.

Thank you Vermin King. Just curious, are you going to show us your Red Baron build as I would love to see it.

Thanks Tim, it makes sense to start off building smaller scale as you said. Looking back, today is my 3rd anniversary with this forum and I did actually start building simpler and smaller ones.

Those are cute little planes. I really like the Bird Dog.

Thanks, Carlos, there's another livery of the Bird Dog, the US Army one, that I'm going to do soon.

I actually had my computer guy order me the upgrade to my computer, including a digital camera this last week. Immediately after I called to check status of the order Friday afternoon, the mail arrived with a tax bill from the IRS for an additional $1900 for 2009! On my way back from my folks tonight my car acted up (either fuel related or electrical, not sure yet), and get home to find a flooded basement. Cancelled my upgrade since the order hadn't been placed yet, so I don't know when I'll be able to get pics on anything ...
