F.G.s GeeBee's
I finished this a few weeks back and thought I should post it here. It was a fun build and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you willygoat for being there, and Dave for a great model. wc

Your diorama and models really evoke the glory days of the National Air Races!
I like it. Don |

That sure is a neat setup Waddy. Great work on all of it. The rigging looks very nice. Much better than mine.

willygoat that means a lot to me. Also thank you all. This is a aircraft I always thought was among the best of the time period. I'm glaj to have it and under clear plastic to keep it clean. Thank you again. wc

As we used to say back in the day, "Neato!" Love what you've done with your display.

Nice display.
I tried something similar a while back.
What I find interesting about 1930's air racing was the fact that it wasn't the military that had the fastest planes in the world , but sportsmen. After WWII the jet age started and the military had the fastest planes and it's been that way ever since. |

There was a nice model of Billy Mitchell"s Spencer cup racer on Canon, but it is not there anymore. |
