OddBall 1/34 Augusta MH-68A

Here is my build of the OddBall Productions MH-68A Stingray. As always, it went together wonderfully. I did make a mistake in the title. I mistyped a 5 instead of a 6. Oops.

I cut off the tabs and made joiner strips for the fuselage sections.

I used wire (straightened paper clips) for the landing gear supports, and toothpicks for the main legs on the gear. I printed the parts onto 20# typing paper and wrapped the lighter weight paper around the wire and toothpicks.

Well done, willygoat, what did you put in to strengthen the rotor blades (not sure if it is properly called)?

Thanks for that, I forgot to mention that initially. I put a thin strip of cereal box cardboard in each blade, and I also put it on the rotor hub parts as well. As the glue was drying, I curved the end of the blades to simulate the droop when the blades are still.

Nice Agusta! You ever try florists wire for the rotor blades?

I've found something similar at the hobby store, but I'm saving that for some of my nicer book models.
