Unfortunately with every glue stain I'm heading towards a very realistic ideal, it seems. The fruits of today's labors:
The intakes are only dry-fitted to the framework, so the misalignment is not final. Tomorrow I'm going to try and get the starboard side intakes done, and maybe get a start on the exhaust side. |

BTW, before I forget - the best method of assembling the (inboard) intakes for me is to glue part 30 to bulkhead B31, then to glue part 29 to the front of part 30, then to insert part 28 into the intake, and only then to mate this assembly to part 31 and bulkhead B32. The outboard ones are done similarly, with their corresponding parts. However, this is only what works for me, and your mileage may vary.

Awww I should have been checking this thread more often, you're building too fast XD. Sorry about the lack of alignment marks, definitely will keep that in mind for next time.
A word on the exhaust, I'm seriously suggesting building with very thin paper, as judging from the thickness you use it's going to cause a lot of fit problems (especially on the detail, if you choose to build them)...

I've tuned in pretty late to this thread; what a great model! Just be patient with it and I'm sure it's gonna be worth the effort. More please!
