Fokker Dr I, Sero-Paperwarbirds, 1:33
Attending several exhibitions I always admired Roman`s triplanes. They are the best researched models of this type.
So, finally, I bought a model, it shows the plane flown by Bruno Loerzer, a companion of Hermann Göring. Changes I made from the original design are the substitution of the Spandau cowlings by photo etched parts made by myself, for the tires I took card discs which were sanded to shape. The engine cowling was tinctured with CA glue and then sanded. Only the tail surfaces are a little warped, so the photos were taken from such angles that this fact is hidden a little bit. Hans Gerd |

Very nice.
Is the model kit weathered as shown or did you add it? |

It's a beautiful model, Hans Gerd. Your craftsmanship is outstanding, whether it is ships or aircraft, and it is always a pleasure to see your work.

Nice Hans, especially the detail in the guns. Daring color patterns these early planes wore!

You said you added home-made etched parts (the gun shrouds). HOW DO YOU DO THAT??? Very nice.
