It is manned flying model of the "NM-1" ("Natural Model") the perspective of the reconnaissance aircraft " RSR" ("Reactive Strategic Reconnaissance"). In 1958, it investigated the aerodynamic scheme of the future aircraft - however, after the success of the space program, the project was closed.
