Woo Hoo! Now THAT'S a T-38 model!

I just wish I knew how he handles the integral tabs -- assuming he still does -- without steps between sections. Inquiring minds want to know....

Hahaha, yip, still using the integral tabs. No special method if any? When I cut out the tabs, I think I over-cut, so that there's a slight snip into the actual piece of the model. When I glue the sections together, I apply glue to the non-tabbed section. Honestly, that's about it.

Good looking model and nice, clean build. I used to love watching the T-38s fly out of Williams Air Force Base.

Wow! That really looks great. Can't wait to see how the F-5s look!

Shape of fuselage...

I have a love-affair with the T-38 that dates back to childhood. And there is a lack of T-38 Talon paper models.

I purchased this one, and without internal formers, how do you get the fuselage shape right?

Glue carefully. If you make sure the edge lines all line up, the parts form themselves.

The plane really does take shape rather remarkably. The way Murph designed the sections adds a lot of strength to the model as well. I've had mine in my classroom for nearly 2 years, and it's holding up like new.

Just be sure to carefully roll the rounded bits (not too many of them on this one) to the right radius and the parts form themselves.
