It's a model of a B-52 made of aluminum soda cans. Truly amazing work!

Spectacular!
Will it fly, or is it a static model? Will you paint it?.. Bengt |

Well Some of them are capable of flight, but no, this one will be a static display only. I am in the process of making the camouflage scheme from can material and applying it to the model. It will consist of the scheme seen on the GPM and Fiddler's Green version with black, olive drab, brown, and tan. I am nearly complete with the pattern and I will post pictures as soon as it is completed... |

LOL a hangar!
These large projects usually find a home at the local museum of a 1000 model kits that is run by the hobby shop that sponsors/commissions them. My 8 foot Md-80, my 6 foot Sr-71 and my 3.5 foot F-15 Eagle all hang at the entrance. I guess that they will have to make room for the B-52 later on this summer! |
