Ha en tried spraying a coat on the paper? Varnish? May help with the cracking?

You could test this on some scrap paper.

Kevin, thanks for the suggestion. But the model is already built. The other model I have of the same manufacturer, the Su-17, also is metallized with the same type of paper.
When I dare to ride sure I'll follow your advice.
I know it's another story, but for you to understand the complexity of this other model I attached a few pictures.
The instruccions are so confused for me. And there's any reference how to laminate if its necessary. It's a shame because I really like this model but at now i have not the level to built this.
Regards,
Jordi

Tim, i also have the Su-17 of this manufacturer, but for now i'm afraid to mount it.
Almost all the fuselage parts are joined without any flange so that the accuracy in cutting and assembling the frames is more than necessary. Calculating by eye consists of about 450 pieces.

About assembly I can say that everything has fit quite well (and indeed in good hands).

I'm finding problems: Basically the type of paper, to be bright, as bending cracks ink. For its thinness is very sensitive to manipulation and then may appear "dents" undesirables. This in my case it is increased by not knowing how to interpret correctly the instructions I have to keep trying, with the cut off pieces as is fitting.
Anyway i think this is a very interesting kit. You will see...

Now some more pics of de cockpit:
Ups! sorry Tim, i meant Isaac.

Good grief - what a complicated model. I am impressed you finished it.

Bending the metallic paper. Been thinking, maybe the spray may not work. It may affect the metallic finish. I suppose you can test the idea though and see.

How about dampening the metallic paper before folding? Would this work? Has anyone else tried this? Any input?

Short history:

AT the end of WW2 the Soviet Union developed its first jet engine axial flow thanks to technology developed by Germany captured by the Soviets. Due to the limited performance of such engines and given the need for more substance engines, surprisingly the Soviet Union reached an agreement with Britain to Rolls Royce to sold several units-of the best jet engine in this times: the Rolls Royce Nene (the British company had a tradition of naming their engines with river names).

With these centrifugal flow engines the Soviet Union was able to develop their own engine designed by Vladimir Klimov. The result was the Klimov RD-45 would mount the Mig 15.

Hope you like it.

Nice and clean built. I always enjoy a NMF (Natural Metal Finish) effect on every aircraft model. I think you have impressed me with your build quality

I have seen real Mig-15s up close. The cockpit is cramped and the pilot sits between the two nose canon, which suggests a noisy vibration experience when fired. Also the space is very tight for pilots taller than 5-foot 5-inches.

Your models cockpit looks very well done!)6
