Mig 15 bis - 1/33 - YG-Model
Hi all,
I am pleased to present my first model in this forum. It’s a kit from the manufacturer YG-Model, of which there are few references and I found it interesting to share with you. I have to warn you that I am a begginer in the world of paper modeling. In fact this is my fourth model. So my opinions and the final result may not be reliable. Also I have to say that my english is very poor,so sorry if I write some inconvenience. The model is finished, I presented this model in the Spanish forum, but it seems most appropriate to be putting the step by step construction and thus be putting comments. About the kit I have to say that the quality and clarity of the print is excellent. The leaves are A3 size, paper is very glossy and in my opinion too thin. The combination of being a metallized and slightly thick paper, make it very delicate to handle. So let me show you some photos: |

The YG models have great detail. I have their Suchoi-7 kit.
Love the interior work you done so far. Isaac

Thank you very much to all.
Tim, i also have the Su-17 of this manufacturer, but for now i'm afraid to mount it. Almost all the fuselage parts are joined without any flange so that the accuracy in cutting and assembling the frames is more than necessary. Calculating by eye consists of about 450 pieces. About assembly I can say that everything has fit quite well (and indeed in good hands). I'm finding problems: Basically the type of paper, to be bright, as bending cracks ink. For its thinness is very sensitive to manipulation and then may appear "dents" undesirables. This in my case it is increased by not knowing how to interpret correctly the instructions I have to keep trying, with the cut off pieces as is fitting. Anyway i think this is a very interesting kit. You will see... Now some more pics of de cockpit: |
