Another Tonton's SD plane - Junkers Ju 87-B Stuka

After reading the "Red 28, superdeformed MiG 21" by michik, I also fell into love with the SD planes.
So, I went to his site and downloaded lot of planes.

(Only linking to the index page is allowed, so I can't just put the download link.
But you can click on the link "かくのうこ" to enter the free download section. Enjoy it!)

Okay, let's back to the topic.
I pick the Ju 87-B stuka to build because I like the WWII Germany planes very much.

The file format is PDO, so the Pepakura viewer is needed.
You can get it here, it is officially offered freely so you haven't to worry about the copyright issue.

Open it and print it out. I used the 140 gsm paper for inkjet. (about 0.19mm thickness.)
After half a day, I built up it and the stage designed by my own.
Though there's no instructions on the site, but it's not hard to figure out.

(To see the 800x600 image, just click on the thumbnails)

Many parts I didn't fit it well, I should work harder to make it better next time.

And this is rear view.
とんとん is a Japanese loanword, and its pronunciation is "ton-ton" as that you have knew.
I looked it up in the Japanese dictionary, it said it is the sound when we knock on the door.
Very interesting name, isn't it ?

This is side view.

This is another side.

The stage. I used the GIMP image editor again.

Zoom in the specifications. I got them from the Wikipedia. Here is the link.

It is under the incandescent light bulb.
I prefer to this color set, brown and yellow.

By the way, I also bought 4 commercial planes.
Each one only costs me 150 yen (about $1.25 USD), it pays to give up 4 bottles of Coke and get 4 nice planes.
(This is not advertising, but just for your imformation)

---

Sorry. I forgot the scale cube. Here it is.

L: 11cm, W: 13cm, H: 7cm.
Compared with the real one, the scale is about 1:100.
Besides, the stage is 12cm x 12cm x 3cm.

Regards,
