Voisin III LA.S (DIY 1/48)

I completed the drawings for a scale model 1/48 of a LA.S Voisin III / V LA.S in service with the Italian Army.

This is the subject:

differences between the type III LA.S and type V (LA.S) ??

In specialized forums about the aviation of the First World War, someone said that it is a modified type V...

The documentation on the Voisin bombers are so scarce, but I believe that the differences between the type III and type V are that the latter has the upper wing advanced, and the trellis of the drift, longer than in the previous model.

Therefore I consider "unquestionably" this a type III LA.S

If anyone knows more will come forward, please..

colours and roundel?

Another problem to be solved is that of coloring, but here I have to speculate in the absence of documentation,

1 colors factory (built in France creamy or ice white or built under license in Italy raw canvas or green camouflage)

2 emblems of recognition (if built in France, roundel of recognition with outside red and green painted over the interior blue, if built in Italian, traditional roundel (green outside)

You have any suggestions?

bye, matt77

I can provide no information on your research queries, but I am delighted to see that you have another WWI pusher in Italian service project underway.

The images of the aircraft are elegant and the engine drawings are a pleasure to look at.

You always bring an extraordinary amount of research, design skill, and artistry to these projects.

thanks NOBI,
The SLC Torpedo, human torpedo, (1/24), is available in the download section.

Soon, in the same section will be available Armored car Fiat Terni (1/24).

The Savoja Pomilio SP.3 (1/48) was realized by changing the original design, so the drawings should be modified.

The Drachen-ballon (1/72) is ready and complete with instructions but must be tested before the model-beta ..

The Caproni Ca.3 series (1/48) has some design flaws in the nacelle central and waits a review

The Caproni Fuscaldo Armored Car Vespa (1/24) is in an advanced phase and will make him available in the download section

Seems to me some of the ones in French service had a 37mm cannon mounted in front, didn't work out so well against other aircraft. At least I remember seeing a photo of a painting of one so fitted in a book when I was a kid.
