Getting better and better... keep them coming!

... the Albemarle... Of course. And I even checked a list to make sure I didn't leave an important plane out. I am having a blast trying to put your Wellington together. I up-scaled it to 1:200 to go with my other models. The machine gun turrets are a particular challenge. I also printed out the Halifax, Sterling and Lancaster and discovered something peculiar. The Wellington engines are 11% larger than the Halifax and Stirling engines. They are supposedly the same engine (or at least interchangeable).

Checked and confirmed. The reason for this is the tiny scale and the approximations made. The Wellington engine grows narrower towards the front in 1:1 scale but here in 1:300 land I kept it rather straight Therefore the front circle is bigger than it should be. Of course upscaling enforces that difference. One day I should do them in 1:100 scale ... one day. Oops, I started daydreaming. |

Bruno, to quote the younger generation, you are awesome. When it comes to some of the WW2 planes, I have a request / suggestion. To include optional main frames and wing spars. It can be tricky to get he right dihedral on some of these planes. I managed to find some 28lb / 98 g/m paper and it is perfect for making models in 1:200. Vickers Warwick is another gem.
