As for recolours... I am likely as mad as Bruno, but in my own way. Spent a couple of hours changing each fuselage panel of the Albatri separately to plywood finish for the Albatros D.III and C.VII in my trusty Paintshop Pro. The poor Rumpler ended up with a generic light blue finish and of course the Triplane. And I couldn't leave the wings of the D. III alone, either... Just had to make a mauve and green version.
Because I want to maximize the use of a card sheet, I crammed them all in. Yes, I am crazy. Bruno, I will send these recolours to you via EMail once I make copies of them on separate sheets = shortly. (getting really tired of expired token wiping out my posts and me having to re-think and re-type them. This is my third try) |

A little warning/error report regarding #1164 DFW T.28 Floh:
The amrkings for the right hand side wing struts are incorrectly positioned (i.e. on the second outermost rib). The left hand side, however, is ok!

It depends on the repainter.
Some people prefer bitmap programs (Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, Paint.net, Gimp, etc...). Others prefer vector programs (Inkscape, Illustrator etc...). Each type of program has their pros and cons. I use Inkscape (vectors). Sygrod uses Paintshop Pro (bitmap). Bruno's originals use vectors (made in MS Word if I remember correctly).

a thousand apologies. The model has been corrected. @ Tran Ngoc Trung, Sygrod uses Paintshop Pro for recoloring. Bruno |

Here is a new model. Only on model build and two short flights done. Abandoned due to heating problems of the engine. I made it in its original scheme but could not resist doing a "what if" version with stork emblem on the nose.
Nr 1199 Weymann W.1 Nr 1200 Weymann W.1 stork The latter was of course used for the test build. Here some pictures of progress and result. At the very last end I lost the propeller axis to the carpet monster, so I replaced it with a piece of toothpick. Bruno Did I just reach 1200? Yes, I did. |

If I put together another order, is there a chance you could put together an Albatros C.III?
I like PaintShop Pro. Vector is something I may have to familiarize myself with. When I import a PDF, it transforms it to a bitmap, so that is what I work with. 300 dpi seems to be an effective resolution. When I recolour, I usually greyscale first, then I select parts that share the same colour and change the RGB values by percentage and that way lines get the same hue. /Ken |

Yet another plane (Sorry, Ken, no Albatros C.III. Remember I'm in a french period for the moment )
Nr 1201 Nieuport Triplane grey Nr 1202 Nieuport Triplane green Nr 1203 Nieuport Triplane British Only a few were build. This version is based on the Nieuport 17 and features a very original wing positioning. (No, I did not put the wings in the wrong direction ) test build is Nr 1202. and the grey cone is a propeller boss that was added on at least one of the models. Bruno |
