Here it is corrected with some early color schemes of the YF-18 test and prototype models.

Thank you Bruno, prototypes 2 to 5 are rarely depicted in modeling, let alone paper modeling.
Mas gracias!!!

It is a very easy model. My method is that i first connect the upper part of the wings/fuselage together and then the edge of the wings. The exhaust cames as 3rd and then i cut lines into the bottom part of the "cockpit" to connect the canopy. After canopy and "cockpit" are connected i glue them to the center of the wings/fuselage.

I hope this was helpful.

Best regards.

It is even hard to find many pictures of these prototypes.

I had to base the two TF-18 recolors on one or two pictures. So I cannot guarantee if they are correct.

It has been so many years and this thread is still running with the flow of little models everyday. It's hard to find someone with such fine skills, Bruno. Good to see that there are still people that persist through and have aviation paper modelling for their lifetime. Many of my peers that i have known since my entry into engineering and modelling have disappeared into other things. But what can I say about someone's interests?... Once again, great job for making these models, they are amazing. And thanks for keeping me busy with building your models during my free time.

Greetings from Singapore.

A quick little recolor of Bruno's lattest offering: an FA-18A of VMFA-333 Shamrocks during Desert Storm in january/february 1991. 1:200 and 1:300 in the same file.

Thank you Bruno!

I started my test-build too late and didn't finish it (next week now unless I bring it to work) but it was enough to see that I had the warnings too low on the air intakes. It's corrected here.

There are a few F-18 two seaters with the Nasa.
They escorted the Space Shuttle to Los Angeles.

I should make a little diorama with those F18s. Bruno designed everything in those images (F18, Shuttle, SCA)!!!
