Works in progress
2nd attempt at Vulcan (Try to get the wings right this time).
Fuselage of Argosy finished, including the Ray-dome. (I'll tell you about that later!) And Kong gets bigger still (He's got arms now). What? ... Where? You're not supposed to be able see that ... It's invisible, ennit? Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. |

Kong finished ... see Found on eBay so the damned thing is out of the way at last.
Vulcan and Argosy both now have wings, but engines, props and booms need some decent sunlight with the Magnifier. Using the LED lamps is really killing my vision, so evening work is out for a while. Should be finished in a day or so though ... so if a Hastings or Nimrod .pdf should appear soon, I'll be a happy chappy. Only joshin' Bruno. I can wait. I've got quite a stack of feathered type birds squabbling on the top of my 'To-do' pile. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. |

Many people are bulkin' at building in 1:300 scale, and now Croden is shrinking them down to 1:600 ... Lookin' good though mate.
Mind you, Airbus kites are big enough to take it I suppose, but I guess I'm staying at 1:300. They give me enough problems, but the finished models are just sooooo worth the effort. In card stock, I find them quite strong enough to allow little fingers to 'look' at them too. You can lose fifty odd of them in a shoebox and just bring them out as and when required. No need to upset 'er indoors by permanently hangin' 'em all over the ceiling. Mind you, my flock of feathered birds is building quite well up there. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. |

The working week is getting to the end. I'll be starting my models quite soon.
Don't have any of the cited models (nimrod, hasting, 350) in the stove right at the moment, but I can propose a VC-10 and perhaps an Il-76. (after they are finished of course ) Bruno |

A 1:300 VC-10 will go down very nicely, ta Bruno.. In RAF livery of course, and if possible the one with a 107 zap on it's nose (There is/was only one).
Booms, tail, and three engines on Argosy, but nil progress on the Vulcan. I'm wasting a lot of time resolving the problems on this old XP computer. Hopefully I'll have a new build Win7 one ready before April. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. |
