Dear Herky:
You have been in Bruno's Academy for Model Design for some time.
Using his tutorials you may do the elusive "Endurance" guarding the South Georgia (in 1/400 if you may or at least in 1/200)!
At the moment I am designing a Short 360 using his teachings, hopefully I will release it here in maybe a month?
Best regards to all and to the "Dean"
Pablo

Dear Bruno:
There are plenty of versions, users and decorations, from the tropics to the poles, from the funny to the frighten!
A little Pandora's box!
Happy modeling.

Shades of Heller's book Catch 22 & the movie. I got to meet a real Mitchell pilot and hear some of his stories about his Med. theater of operations out of Corsica.

"Ok, let me see if I've got this straight. In order to be grounded, I've got to be crazy. And I must be crazy to keep modeling. But if I ask to be grounded, that means I'm not crazy anymore, and I have to keep modeling."

Here a picture with some progress.
Gun turret needs to be redesigned.
