Well I am very impressed with your B-25, and I do have a request, since you are in de mood for US medium bombers; the A-26 (later the B-26, and then reverted again to A-26) in particular the Vietnam Era A-26K with wingtips fuel tanks, solid nose, and SEA camo with black undersurfaces. My preference would be 1/300, but I do understand the economic implications, so 1/100 would be a lot better than no A-26.
Happy designing, modeling, and recoloring.

Several years ago, I buyed the Airfix bagged anphibious "Arado" 1:72 a favorite scale plastic model of mine, and located it on my little garden HO railroad pond, docked at ferry pier. ¡I spended long time enjoying that scene in my little GR!

While finishing up the superb Wellington and trying to figure out the machine gun turret design, I started on the B-17 Memphis belle, available in 1:300 (Thanks, Bruno). I up-scaled it to 1:200, because I just don't have the skills to build it in 1:300. I printed it on 28lb paper, which is quickly becoming a favourite. This time, I left the tabs on and cut small wedges in them. I assembled the main fuselage part and the part in front of it and tried to put them together without glue and found that it is very difficult (for me) to line them up well. I also get slight deformation of the front of the part with the tabs on it. This is in no way a complaint about the design, but I think I will have to do internal tabs. I seem to get along better with those, as I did with the Wellington. On the wellington at 1:200 with 28lb paper, I am amazed at how sturdy and rigid it is.

Thanks, all, for the continuing posts and inputs.

Thanks, Mike.
The landing gear was a tricky thing. The test build set needs some fine tuning.
I just need to keep the models simple enough for most of us builders . As you may already know, I like simple and fast builds

Still had another unfinished project on my desk. did it with gear up. (other printer and therefore lighter grey and somewhat more accurate in scale than its one seat version.)
