What would Bruno do? I'm confused about the engines on the Airbus A330-200. I'm building the Thai livery (a very beautiful one, BTW), and it's gone well until I got to the engines and their pylons. First, I wasn't sure whether the circles for the fan (in front) and black circle (aft) should be inset or glued to the ends. The position of the gluing strips led me to believe that they should be flush with the ends, as shown. But when I try to fit the pylon, there's a problem. It appears that on the stepped lower edge, the first step (left) should be glued to the aft white section, and the second step should be glued to the gray cone. But the second step is too short. It would fit fine if I recessed the black circle that the gray and black cones are glued to(barely visible in the second photo). But that doesn't make sense with the way the glue strips are shown. As it stands, my plan is to trim the pylon a bit so it fits. Thoughts?
P.S. I can only attach 3 photos to this post, but I'll follow with a picture of the uncut engine and pylon parts.
